Introduction | Performance Work
As a performing artist, I have worked with RIOULT (Pascal Rioult), Nai-Ni Chen Dance Company, and TAKE Dance (Takehiro Ueyama) in New York City; José Navas/Compagnie Flak in Montréal; and Yannis Adoniou's KUNST-STOFF Dance Company and Hope Mohr Dance in San Francisco. With these companies, I had the opportunity to tour across North America, Europe, and Asia. Highlights included dancing at the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao and the Oslo Opera House.
In 2012, I launched Linsdans to serve as the platform for my solo performance work. One year later, I premiered POR·TRAI·TURE, my first solo show for which I received an Isadora Duncan Dance Award (Izzie), a coveted prize in the San Francisco dance community. Following this success, and with the support of American Dance Abroad, festivals, and residencies, I had the opportunity to perform my solo work in Greece, Germany, Canada, Bulgaria, China, and Korea. Pinnacle performances took place at the Beijing Dance Festival and MODAFE Korea.
In 2014, I launched the microMACRO Contemporary Dance Workshop as an educational component of Linsdans. Over the program’s three-year span, I had the privilege of teaching over 300 students in five countries. For two years, I served as Adjunct Lecturer in Modern Dance and Guest Choreographer at Santa Clara University in California.
